I have been practicing yoga off and on for about six years now, and although I enjoyed it always, I was not passionate about it. With Christine, that changed as she hasn’t just shown me posses and stretches, she has taught me far more than that. Christine’s teachings are inspiring and I always leave her classes feeling on top of the world with a clearer mind and purpose. This feeling has extended to many other aspects in my life, including my career, relationships and more. I strongly urge anyone new or experienced with yoga to try a class with Christine. I have been taking Power Yoga classes with Christine and especially appreciate her sunny temperament, clear explanations and knack for solving postures and breathing bugs. Recently for example, Christine took one look at my rickety crow pose, made two simple suggestions, gave me a demo and presto! There I was, balancing in crow for a good ten seconds, feeling on top of the world and to think that I’d spent the better part of the year trying in vain to find a comfortable roost. I have been practicing yoga with Christine for one year. I was impressed with her first class. Christine is very nice and she has a strong body where she is able to do all the postures which I have never seen before in reality, only in yoga magazines or books. This is very motivating for me. I like Christine’s classes because they are challenging and lots of fun. Christine has a great sense of humor, which helps you to think its easy even if you work really hard at the pose. I also enjoyed having private yoga sessions as Christine was able to take care of every detail of my postures and correct them so I am able to them properly. For many years I was looking to practice yoga but I was having a hard time to get started. I met Christine and she is so friendly and easy to get along with. Christine always welcomes you with a wonderful smile and makes it easy to start the practice. Once I began I could not stop practicing yoga. I thank you for being so kind and also for making it so fun as I love yoga. I am moving from Vancouver and I am very sad to leave Christine’s classes but she stimulated me enough to continue this path.

I love Christine’s energy and the way she teaches yoga. I have never met anyone like her! I practiced yoga years ago and I had not kept it up. When I joined Christine’s first class, even the basic poses were almost impossible for me. I was ready to give up, because of Christine’s encouragement and her wonderful spirit of joy and support kept me going. I am so glad I continued. Now I can do intermediate poses easily and yoga is a passion for me again. I love the reclining hero now, this was a pose I couldn’t even dream of doing, 6 months ago. Christine’s spirit of adventure always shined through and she encourages us to “have fun and explore our bodies in a fluid yoga dance”. Christine has a natural talent for making everyone feel comfortable and welcome and develops a unique sense of community amongst her students. What I found amazing is that each of Christine's classes are different and I have taken so many in the last few months. In essence it was most profoundly changing experience for me, both physically and a little bit spirtually.
