WHY YOGA?

I believe our appetite for yoga and our eagerness to embrace yoga as a spiritual practice, is a testament to growth and our desire for change. We need a new paradigm, one that will replace our present attachment to imbalance. Yoga is the study of balance and balance which is the aim of all living creatures; it is our home.

Yoga calms the mind while energizing the body and spirit.

Body

Yoga has proven to balance the glandular system, strengthens the 72,000 nerves in the body, expands the lung capacity and purifies the blood stream. It brings health and balance to your body also gives you the calmness to sit, be still and meditate.

Mind

Through meditation you will develop a positive, self-empowering attitude and your inner strength and self-awareness will build to your highest potential. Yoga teaches you how to harness the energy of the mind and emotions to be in control of rather than being controlled by thoughts and feelings.

Spirit

When you strengthen your body and clear your mind this allows your spirit to shine. Yoga is a technology that allows you an experience of your authentic self.
